SIU FOUNDATION
SIU Foundation is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization founded in Mogadishu in 2013 with a mission to provide people affected by human and natural crises in Africa with educational programs emergency relief, clean water and food security, health care, protection for children and orphans, sustainable socio-economic programs, and to promote peace-building and effective governance, while integrating our values of respect, impartiality, quality, accountability, advocacy and innovation in all our work

JOB CREATION
The SIU Foundation organizes an annual Students Academic Symposium to foster job creation and support young entrepreneurs. This event provides a platform for students to present their business ideas and innovations, helping them transform their concepts into viable ventures.
By participating in the competition, students not only gain valuable exposure but also receive financial prizes that can aid in the development and growth of their businesses. This initiative plays a crucial role in creating job opportunities, as it empowers young entrepreneurs to take the next step toward launching and scaling their own enterprises.
Each year, the symposium encourages creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation among SIU students, providing them with the tools and resources they need to contribute to the job market and the economy.
